| The
Right Hon Sir Christopher Chataway

|
Sir Christopher first achieved world
acclaim in 1954 as the pacemaker in the team, which broke
the 4-minute mile. That same year he broke the 4-minute
mile himself and the world record for the 5000 metres, and
was also the holder of the three-mile record. He represented
Great Britain at the Olympic Games in 1952 and 1956 and
at the Empire Games.
Sir Christopher embarked on a political career in 1959,
and held the portfolios of Minister of Posts and Telecommunications
(1970-72) and Minister for Industrial Development (1972-74).
When he retired from politics in 1974, he held a number
of senior positions in many UK and international companies.
Sir Christopher continues to devote considerable time to
charity and community activities and has been President
of the Commonwealth Games Council for England since 1990.

| Sir
Andrew Foster

|
Sir Andrew Foster has a
keen interest in sport and a wealth of experience within the
business world. He is currently Deputy Chairman of the Royal
Bank of Canada. Sir Andrew has had a long and distinguished
career in public service having served as Chief Executive
of the Audit Commission for England and Wales between 1992
and 2003. He was knighted in 2001 for his achievements within
health and local government. Previous appointments that Sir
Andrew has held include: Deputy Chief Executive of the NHS;
Regional Chief Executive for the NHS; Director of Social Services
for North Yorkshire County Council; Chairman Bureaucracy Review
Group DFE Skills, May 2004; Chairman Foster Review Group Athletics,
DCM Sport (modernisation of management of sport), May 2004.
He is also an independent member of the Cabinet Committee
Public Services Inspection, June 2004; Non-Executive Director
Sport England, 2003; Non-Executive Director National Express,
2004; Non-Executive Director PruHealth, 2004; Non-Executive
Director Nestor, 2004.

| Dave
Bellingham

|
Dave has been an active
sportsperson all his life, playing a variety of sports particularly
Rugby. In the 1980s, Dave became involved in Road Running
and Triathlon and has been a member of Triathlon’s Executive
Board since 1987 – 4 years as Vice Chair. He became
Triathlon’s Council representative at the CGCE in 1994.
Dave was the National Team Manager for Triathlon from 1995
to 2000, which culminated in the sports debut at the Sydney
Olympic Games. In 2002, Dave was honored to be part of Team
England’s HQ Staff in Manchester and Melbourne 2006.
Dave lives in Leicester and works full-time as a probation
officer. |

| Paul
Owen

|
Paul was elected as Honorary
Treasurer in 2003 for a four-year term.He is a qualified Accountant
and Banker with both industrial and sports accounting experience.
Paul has been the Chief Executive of the British Canoe Union
since 1995 and holds a number of posts within sport including
membership of the National Olympic Committee and the UK Sport
Ethics and Anti Doping Committee.
He is a qualified International Canoe Federation Official
and has organised several major canoeing championships in
the UK, the last being the Marathon Racing World Championships
in 2001. |

| Ian
Emmerson, OBE

|
Ian has been involved
in sports administration for over 40 years. His principle
background is cycling where he held numerous positions culminating
as President of the British Cycling Federation, which he
held from 1985 to 1995. Ian was Vice President of the Union
Cycliste International from 1994 to 1997and prior to that
service on its executive board for 8 years.
Ian was vice Chairman of the CGCE from 1994 to 1998 being
elected as its Chairman in 1998. He was re-elected to this
position in 2003 for a further four year term.
Ian was awarded the OBE for services to sport in 1994.
Having completed his second term as Chair, he has become
a Vice President of the Council and invited to join the
Management Board. |

Hogbin, CBE

|

| Hamish
McInnes

|
An independent sports consultant,
Hamish previously headed up Sport England's Governing Bodies
Team for 10 years during which lottery funding to sports and
elite athletes was introduced. He has now worked with the
CGCE and Team England in a variety of roles since 1998, and
has attended the last two Games in Manchester and Melbourne
and the Youth Games in Bendigo.
He is currently a Director of World Snooker and the World
Confederation of Billiard Sports, as well as policy adviser
to a number of leading sports organisations in the UK. He
has also represented the UK government and its sporting agencies
at home and abroad.
Earlier in his career Hamish completed a PhD at Loughborough
University whilst representing Scotland at 800m and 1500m
on the track for over ten years.

Dennis
Yeoman

|
Dennis has been involved
in Sports Administration for over 40 years, mainly with Swimming,
where he has held numerous positions within the ASA, including
20 years on the ASA Committee. He has contributed to a wide
range of major projects within the sport, including Strategic
Planning, implementation of Business Processes & Bids
to bring World Class events to the UK. Appointed as Regional
Director in the South West for SportsAid in April 2007.
Having served on the Council of CGCE
since 1999 Dennis was responsible for the delivery of the
Aquatics programme at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester
in 2002 & has retained a keen interest of the affairs
of the CGCE since then.
Dennis is now retired and devotes
his time to developing his sporting interests at all levels. |
