Important Ticketing Notification:
Single Ticket Sales for the general
public will commence from 15 October 2005. Tickets will then
be available online at www.melbourne2006.com.au, over the
phone or at Ticketmaster outlets.
As outlined in November 2004, from Saturday 15 October 2005,
residents from all territories can purchase tickets via the
Melbourne 2006 website and call centre. M2006 does not intend
to market this service in CGA territories; it will merely
be available for use by international customers.

Here is the latest information
we have about ticket sales for the Commonwealth Game, as given
to us by the Organising Committee in Melbourne:
• Sales suspended 1 September – 30 September.
• Sales commence again 1 October on a first come first
served basis. Tickets need to be paid for at time of ordering.
• Tickets can be bought via the M2006 website (www.melbourne2006.com.au).
• Team draws will be announced on 15 October in line
with single ticket sales across the world.
• Tickets can then be sold on their own without accommodation
and/or airfare.

PACKAGES TO THE GAMES BELOW IS STILL CURRENT.

pleased to annouce that a number of tour agents have now been
appointed by the Melbourne 2006 Organising Committe to sell
packages to the Commonwealth Games in March next year. Additional
agents will be appointed during the next few weeks and once
they have their contact details will be added to this page.
Please note however, that these agents are not
able to sell individual tickets to events.

It is with regret that the appointment of the tour agents
selling packages (flights, accommodation, event tickets) to
the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne next year has been delayed,
but this has proved to be beyond the control of this Commonwealth
Games Association. As soon as we have received confirmation
from the Organising Committee as to who has accepted the appointment
to become an official agent we will put the full details of
the companies appointed on this website.
As previously advised on this page, we have been informed
by the Organising Committee that it is possible that single
tickets will be available for sale to non-Australian residents
after the third quarter of 2005 (September). Such tickets
will ONLY be available to purchase through the M2006 website.

shortly, through the Organising Committee, be inviting expressions
of interest from companies within England who might be interested
in selling tickets and tours for the M2006 Games. Once this
process has been completed full details will be put on this
website of the companies appointed to sell the ticket and
tours packages and it is hoped that this will be finalized
within the next few weeks.
We have just been informed by the Organising Committee that
“It is possible that single tickets (tickets only) will
be available for sale to non-Australian residents after the
third quarter of 2005 (September). Such tickets will be available
to purchase through M2006’s
website".
