The 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games will be held in Pune, India between 12 - 18 October 2008. The confirmed participating sports will be - athletics, badminton, boxing, shooting, tennis and weightlifting.

An additional 3 sports have now been added and these are: swimming, table tennis and wrestling making a total of 9 sports on the programme for the 2008 Youth Games.
