The next Commonwealth Games will be held in Delhi, India from 3 - 14 October 2010 (inclusive of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies).

It is the second time that Asia have hosted the Commonwealth Games having previously been held in Kuala Lumpur in 1998.

Seventeen sports will be contested at these Games:

Archery, aquatics, athletics, badminton, boxing, cycling gymnastics, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, rugby 7s, shooting, squash, table tennis, tennis, weighlifting and wrestling. Events for Elite Athletes with a Disability also form part of the sports programme in certain sports, which have yet to be confirmed.

2010 marks the return of archery and wrestling to the sports programme with tennis being added for the first time.
